40 Years and Counting!
AlphaBet Soup Productions has been Chicagoland’s premiere Theatre for Young Audiences since 1987. The ABS mission is, and always has been, to provide Chicago area youth, families and teachers a truly unique theatrical experience that will entertain, educate and inspire.
Throughout the years, ABS has created and produced dozens of engaging musicals for young audiences filled with larger-than-life characters, whimsical costumes, sing-along songs and always an underlying moral to the story.
With this imaginative recipe, AlphaBet Soup's zany creations have been enjoyed by over 1 million children, parents and educators throughout the Chicagoland area!
Meet the Team
So much happens on stage at an AlphaBet Soup Production, but there's just as much magic happening behind the scenes! Meet the team members who work to ensure that every ABS production educates, entertains and inspires.
Susan Holm
Owner and Executive Producer
Susan manages the business, oversees each production throughout the season and designs the award-winning costumes for every show.
Emmett Bowles
Business Manager
Emmett's main responsibilities are contract negotiations, securing venues and assisting with the creative aspects of AlphaBet Soup. Other duties include marketing and PR.
Barbara Burkhard
Box Office Manager
Barbara manages the box office and coordinates all single and group ticket sales.
Page Domikaitis
Stage Manager
Page manages rehearsals and each technical aspect including lighting, scenery, props and sound for several productions each season.
